Last week, firearms were taken from vehicles parked at Indiana’s Bally’s Evansville Casino & Hotel. 

The robberies occurred around 2 a.m. Friday. According to Indiana TV station WFIE, the vehicles were abandoned in the north parking lot of the casino. 

A Dodge Charger had its rear left window broken. A 9mm handgun that was loaded was taken from inside the vehicle. A 9 mm handgun, fully loaded, was taken from a Ford Fusion in the parking lot after its rear left window was dismantled. It was discovered in the area. 

The individual is being pursued. No worth was given for the absent firearms. 

Man Killed by Gunfire at California Eatery 

California authorities are looking for the individual who critically injured a victim while they were at a restaurant on Saturday. 

The fatal event occurred around 8 p.m. at Salvimex Restaurant situated on South Vermont Avenue close to Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena, California. 

Authorities informed the Los Angeles TV channel KTLA that the eatery was purportedly the location of an unlawful casino. The claims have not been verified yet. 

The police disclosed that both the shooter and the victim frequently visited the restaurant. 

The two men were seated at separate tables when the suspect suddenly stood up, walked toward the victim, and fired a shot at him. At least one bullet struck the victim in the chest, resulting in his death at the scene. 

Authorities did not quickly reveal the identity of the victim, who was characterized as a 35-year-old male. There is no information regarding whether the victim and shooter were acquainted prior to the event. 

An autopsy will probably be conducted to verify the victim's identity, along with determining the cause and manner of death. 

The last sighting of the suspect was while they were driving from the restaurant. As of Monday, officials had not disclosed his description, although he is thought to be aged between 35 and 40.

Two Men Admit Guilt 

Recently, two defendants in Michigan admitted guilt for running an unlicensed gambling operation. 

Linos Antonio Kas-Mikha, 52, from Grand Blanc, Mich., and Robert Jameson, 55, from Saginaw, Mich., were detained after authorities looked into an unlawful storefront casino in Flint, as reported by Michigan TV channel WJRT. 

Kas-Mikha is set to be sentenced on November 25, while Jameson will face sentencing on December 2. 

They could face up to a decade in prison and may have to pay fines reaching $100,000.
